The 3ds Max London User Group meets on the first Wednesday of every month at Truckles, opposite the British Museum. Started in 2007, the group enjoys a great number of professional members from London's advertising, architectural and animation industries. We meet to discuss ideas, methods and projects in a friendly, relaxed setting.

Vyonyx & PriestmanGoode next Wednesday 6th May

3ds London is next Wednesday 6th May, from 7pm downstairs at Truckles again (Last month we enjoyed Squint Opera's hospitality at The Doodle Bar, wrong side of the river and all that, but well worth the effort for all those that made it- fantastic work, generous insight into their organization and cold beer).
We've got a few shorter presentations lined up for May. From the always impressive Vyonyx, Konstantinos Koudounis is going to take us through some recent projects and how they did them. Then Rob Walsh will talk us through PriestmanGoode's impressive animation for London Underground. I'm going to show a short project from Stufish so I don't feel hypocritical about constantly nagging everyone else to share their work... Speaking of which, why don't you bring along a project to show the group? You don't necessarily have to prepare a long presentation, just bring something along! Let me know beforehand if you like and I can update the invitation. If you would like to make a longer presentation just get in touch by the way.
Hopefully we'll be lucky with the weather too, looking forward to seeing everyone.

Our social media guru, Sol, has generously set up a meetup page for 3dslondon. I hope this will soon become the primary channel of communication for the group, so make sure you join!

Check www.3dslondon.co.uk, www.facebook.com/3dslondon, the LinkedIn group, follow @3dslondon.

Kind regards, Simon
